Ac problems

Asked by Leoaustin Aug 09, 2018 at 05:21 PM about the 2003 Ford Expedition XLT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2003 Ford expedition that is not blowing
cold air, when you start  car compressor starts for
5sec and stop. If you connect compressor directly
to the battery it works fine but no still cold air
inside the car. System has enough freon.

The reason they put a safety pressure switch on the compressor is that you can severely damage your system if it loses it's charge and you try to pump only air. If you fail to purge air when you recharge your system ... the air/freon mix may condensate
