2002 Ford Explorer

It doesn't shift gears right when it
does it sounds like its just going
to break down and fall apart.
Especially when you drive it jerks
and makes noise. Kills the battery
quick. I bought a brand new
battery and it drained the battery.
Even when its parked and turned
on it makes a loud clanking noise
like its falling apart. Anybody
know what's wrong with it.

If it sounds like an engine knock it may be the cam chain or guides. If that is the case get a reman, engine. The repair will be almost as much as an engine.
