where is the door lock actuator in a 1993 t-bird LX?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

just need to replace a door lock actuator on the drivers door, just cant find it in the door
frame is all. is it actually IN the door or is it hidden in the engine compartment.

It's in the door. RockAuto.com has pictures of them. 1993 FORD THUNDERBIRD 3.8L V6 Supercharged : Body-Exterior : Door Lock Actuator

thanks for the tip tenspeed, actually, i ordered the part from that website. the only problem is, ive practically torn the whole door apart and im still not finding it. i know its in there somewhere, just playin hard to get i suppose. im guessing it IS buried beneath the insulation sheet isnt it?

Its literally inside the door on the corner. If u look on outside of door you will see a funny looking rivet.make sure your window is up also
