Can u change a transmission solenoid on a 04 pt cruiser to make the computer system match up and run right without having to find another transmission

I'm not getting codes and the fluid is new I got the transmission out of a older car and the numbers on the new transmission does not match the computer on the firewall

The car has a 4 plug computer and the car the transmission came out ofhad a 2 plug ccomputer on the firewall

Could u not change solenoid block to the one that matches the firewall and they would both match and work then wouldn't it
