Can fuel pump be tested?

Asked by Guru5RQHN Feb 01, 2018 at 09:51 AM about the 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser Touring Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Code came up to change oil pressure sending sensor. Changed it reset the
computer. Car cranks but doesn't start. Code now reads Done.

yes the pump can be tested but it is easier to test for fuel pressure first going to the fuel rail
