what can be wrong when you smell antifreeze when the car gets hot

There is a leak somewhere,check hose,s and radiator,if you do not find leak,and if you smell it inside van,could be heater core leaking all so.

Ditto to what T_S_T said plus check the water pump and overflow bucket.
