Tranny fluid was good not burnt. I know it is something to do with the tranny we are just trying to go the cheaper route than buying new transmission

Sorry,i wish there was and easy route for this, but i regret to say, this problem is not a simple fix, when your transmission stop,s pulling, and you here ticking mean,s valve,s in tranny are trying to let fluid threw and cant.I feel for you,and wish i could give you better new,s,but that said take it to a good trustworthy mechanic and pray that i am wrong, but iv,e been a mechanic for 35 year.s and what you have said is a true sign of bad tranny.

We have experienced this problem, and after reading these reports I am confident we need to have our transmission rebuilt/replaced after 15 years with this vehicle. We will have the issue reviewed buy a trustworthy mechanic; plus now I'll be prepared to spend $$$ to have it replaced.
