It is a difficult job in terms of heavy, spring-loaded parts. Go get a manual. There's a right way and a dangerous way.

If you do a google search you should be able to find many forums of Bronco owners who have done this ,and possibly step by step instruction. I did mine on a 1978 Bronco and I am no mechanic.
