I have a 2004 A4 1.8T Quattro and it seems to lost all of its power. I use to fly up a hill at 60-70 mph and now I'm lucky to hit 30 mph, what should I be looking for?

Possibly a boost hose loose, a stuck open waste gate or a slipping clutch.

Because you did not mention it I assume that the "check engine" light is ot on. Check te waste gate controls for your turbo charger.

Thanks guys for your inputs, I did find a broken port on the air intake tube down by the turbo, I repaired it with a strong silicone glue, hopefully it will hold. I drove the car and it has more power, but the turbo just doesn't "kick-in" like it use to at 3200rpm. Any ideas? Also it is an automatic transmission.

confirm that the waste gate is closing. It will fail to open and leak off your boost.

I have a 2004 a4 1.8l audi that has a cel, code p0302, it is intermittent, it has 85,000 miles on it, it does it mostly after sitting for a while, So i changed plugs, all coils, swaped coils, swaped injectors, and when it does it the cel will flash , it is a miss fire but I.m lost , it is not going through any coolant, any ideas, when it runs it runs great, im at a loss, thanks for any help 3 Answers
