All time 4wheel drive

I live in the city can I keep the 4 wheel drive in? Will
it make a difference? Or should I keep it in neutral

Neutral is just used when you go to 4low and it helps the gears from not making a fearful noise. Your regular shifter is on P move the 4x4shifter to neutral wait about 5 seconds then shift down to 4liw then you can move the regular shifter to drive. Reverse when movibg shifter back to 4awd
