starts, runs for a sec and dies? sound like it lost memory of your keys. you might have to get them reprogrammed to your immobilizer

take the alternator out and get it tested at a local parts shop. went through 3 batteries to finally find out that a bad altenator will killing the battery

larry, these cars didnt come with immobilizers til '02, they keys arent chipped
