My parents have a 97 grand Marquis and both the driver and passenger seats stopped working for tilting forward. They will recline but not move upright. Both stopped at the same time. Dealer says the motor should be replaced but Ford stopped making them for that year. It doesn't seam right that both stopped at the same time. Please help.Thanks, Scott

I noticed this problem after i got my car back from my mechanic, when he was doing a job that required him to take a part a good part of the engine and disconnecting the battery as well.

the air conditioner on my 2000 mercury grand marquis operates with the heater on also. therefore it doesn't cool very well. also the defroster does nt function.

I own a 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis LS Sedan 4-Door 4.6L 281Cu. In. V8 FLEX SOHC Naturally Aspirated car. The problem i have encountered at first was intermittent then worked while raining then completely stopped. My car has a dealer alarm installed. The entry keypad, door locks, trunk lock, dome light, rear defogger and the radio delay. What i mean by radio delay is when the car is turned off the radio will remain playing till a door is opened. The before mention does not work with remote control or manually . Yes i have changed the battery in remote yes i have tried to reset the system...
