door locks trunk button keyless entry not working

Are you talking about a Remote Keyless Entry or the buttons on the car itself? Remote: try a new battery. Built into the car: start with the fuse box.
the remote and buttons nothing is working but the key. also passenger window buttons not working can only open windows with driver door controls. lock is off and I have replaced battery in remote and checked fuses. what is built into the car?
It's quite likely that the passenger's window switch has failed. On many Ford, Lincoln and Mercury products, there is a 5 button keypad on the driver's door or on the "B" pillar that will let you punch in a code to unlock or lock the doors or pop the trunk. I'm starting to think that you may have an aftermarket alarm. Does it have a Mercury logo on the key fob? If not, it's probably aftermarket and I have no idea how to address it.
thanks anyway it is mercury product my family has owned car since it was new in 2004.everything was working last week. keypad doesn't work on door or trunk. passenger and back seat windows controls don't work. trunk button on drivers door also stopped working along with remote. I guess its a job for a ford dealer. THX
The problem was a fuse but inside the power distribution box. number 8 drivers door module. Thanks for ur input. now I can work on my 68 Galaxie500 less electronics to deal with.
Which number is the fuse
Our problem was in the driver door jam. Had to take door panel off and module out. repaired broken wire in door jam. Wire broke from door opening and closing. Car had 150000 miles.
