92 vette codes 64 & 72

Asked by slick158 May 08, 2007 at 06:18 PM about the 1992 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey there Gurus,
I blew a water pump seal over the the Ol'e Opti-spark distributor. Replaced dist, runs but has a miss in 1 cylinder. Codes are 64 & 72. Should I replace right bank oxygen sensor & whatever code 72 is? Or did I mess up a plug wire when I disconnected from dist. I measured the ohms on Primary coil to distributor and noticed was not to spec. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Give the chevy dealer a quick call and ask them what the codes mean. Or take the car over to a Chevy dealer for a diagnostic check.
