Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Never tried the AWD until this winter.Car drives fine ,no unusual noises. One thing I did notice, while the front wheels were spinning,I could hear a very faint ticking noise from under the car.

Well, at this point go have the car inspected by a shop if you want to fix it, otherwise from what you have told me it sounds like the issue is with the center differential.

It sounds more like the CV joints/axle to me, but what do you mean when you say you did not try the AWD until this winter? It's always on, hence AWD.
