It is possible that those wires are part of a harness that control the mirror, window and shift lever. Check for fuses that may have blown when the wires were snagged.

You probably shorted two together or one to ground, perhaps lower in the door or as the harness passes through its door grommet. Find the breach and repair...and check those fuses afterwards.
