Radiator overheated and blew radiator cap and neck attached to radiator base. Can it be reattached and has the cylinder head been compromised. Engine shut down right away and was parked.

It probably can be welded or soldered back on, but you would be better off with a new or good used one. The cap evidently did not compress to relieve pressure. As for heads/gaskets, have no way of knowing that--unless there is already coolant in oil or any of the tell-tale signs of blown out head gasket

Oh and make sure you get a new radiator cap of proper psi when you fix/replace the radiator.

Your welcome. Be expecting it to overheat again once you get new radiator and cap on. Cap might have caused it to overheat but maybe not.
