I'm not an expert, not even close, but it seems to me that your question is lacking some very pertinent information. Are you talking about the car stopping running when IT is hot, or about the car not running when the temperature OUTSIDE is hot? What's your coolant look like (clean, dirty, full, empty, partway in between, straight water or with antifreeze)? How long does it run before it stops? And under what driving conditions (highway, stop-and-go city, a mix)? And is it leaking or anything? Your problem as it stands could be just about anything from maybe a water pump to low or dirty coolant or a fan issue. Someone would really need more information before they could give you an answer. Just for your own information, I'm not a mechanic; however, I own a 1988 Camry LE with over 340,000 miles on it, and it runs great, so I guess I'm doing something right.
