I have a toyota camry 2001. I was driving to the end of my drive way when I went to put it in park i heard a loud noise and my car jerked into place (even though I was fully stopped) I went to put it in drive and it would just idle and not move. I went to put it in reverse and it does. Luckily I was only at the end of my driveway and have the day off.

It sounds like you will be heading to the transmission shop. Anytime there's a loud noise and your car refuses to go into gear, it means something has let loose in the transmission. I don't think adding fluid will do the trick here.
