Yes. 1991 to 1997 Corollas are 7th Generation and the Base came with the 1.6liter 4A FE and the DX came with the 1.8liter 7A FE, the difference in being the stroke, they have the same piston, but a different crankshaft and connecting rod. So since they are both DX, it should drop right in. Just get everything you can from the donor.
