My 1999 Toyota Corolla CE makes a clicking sound when I first start it up. It goes away after I've been driving awhile

Sounds like lifter tick. I use sea foam to clean up lifters and stop lifter tick. Add to your oil as directed on the can. Crank car and let it idle for 30 minutes or so. ONLY IDLE DO NOT DRIVE IT OR REV THE ENGINE! Then immediately change the oil and filter. This is what I do for lifter tick and have always had great results.
