I'm looking at buying a 2000 Toyota Corolla, but when I put it in reverse, it made a vibrating, grinding sound. My husband, who is a mechanic, looked at the car and had the sellers put it on a lift to look underneath. He found that the front axle on the right side was loose. The sellers replaced the axel, but it is still making the sound. What else could it be?
