Question type: General
I found a stablizing bar under my 2005 Toyota XRS hood. Is it a standard or addition to the car?

Click to enlarge....Both of these are the sportier XRX the one with the 2ZZ FE 1.8L that has something like 40 more hp than my regular LE

Thank you for the information DavidH25. Mine is a top one. I felt this car takes a sharp curve very well. I drive it to work everyday (80 miles per day) mostly on highways. I love the car!
I bet you do. It has a stiffer suspension for cornering and more power than my Corolla, the 2ZZFE in your car will leave me in your dust. And that was a typo XRS not XRX..and you're welcome
"Mine is a top one." - that sounds like a strut tower brace (STB). Some cars come with them and some are aftermarket. Here's a shot of mine.

Yours looks bit different than mine. Thanks for sharing.
I guess you all got me. Everyone knows that if you want to put up a car that is not yours, pick a four cylinder Grand Am. Tell everyone to go to the GAOwnersClub for DIY repair instructions to make it more believable.
Rolex24hrs - strange that you turned up for this thread. I remember you! You posted a question about a super car that you were having trouble with. You said you couldn't get the German transmission all the way onto the Chevy engine. I recognized the car from the show "Gears" hosted by Stacey David. You used picture #23. It shows the tranny with the red car in the background. --- I called you out and the question suddenly disappeared just like the ones written by Ilregal. Now suddenly after two months and not answering any other questions - you appear here backing up Gary's allegations. Interesting that Gary was a road racer and your name is a famous road race. I'm smelling a rat Gary. You are the one with two accounts. You seem to know all about using a second account to mark your own posts "helpful" and you are shallow enough to do it. So go ahead and have the admins check me out and they can check the source of your two accounts while they are at it. --- My car has white and black mirrors because I have two pair of mirrors. I have two sets of wheels too but you didn't notice that. I also put the filler plate on the front when I take the car to shows or out for pictures.
Here's the post in case it suddenly disappears "Rolex24hrs answered about an hour ago --- Sounds like somebody getting called out, I think I agree. I get a lot of amusement reading these posts and this is the best. Put up buddy, went and looked myself and something is fishy here. This cat ilreagle knows his shit and i dont think i'd screw with him, just an opinion."
Here's the Stacey David link that Rolex24hrs used when he said he was having trouble. http://staceydavid.com/projects/sl-c
Sixteen hours later and Ilregal has deleted his posts. He also gave himself 90 points worth of "Helpful" clicks on this question alone. Check it for your self. --- http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/garage/viewReputationActivity.action? profileOwner=2241376
