Clutch Pedal Problem

Asked by Miguelito100 Feb 24, 2014 at 12:51 AM about the 1993 Toyota Previa 3 Dr LE Passenger Van

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Last week I replaced clutch master cylinder, and then had a mechanic bleed it.  Now
clutch pedal never returns more than 1/2 way up.  New clutch a few years ago.  Produces
light gear-grinding sound and difficulty shifting into 1st and 2nd even when pedal is
pushed to the floor.  What is an amateur like me to do?  Thank you.

Step 1, bleed clutch hydraulic system, again, properly. This sure sounds like its not bled properly. check this link on how to. easier then me explaining it. http://www.wikihow.com/Bleed-a-Slave-Cylinder
