your security system in the radio itself has locked the radio (it doesn't know the difference between power loss from a bad battery or being stolen out of the car) if you take it to a dealer they can unlock it for you. I hope this helps.

Actually I unhooked the battery for an hour and when I hooked it back up, it worked.

after spending 57 dollars at the dealership they disconnected battery jumped cables together and reinstalled battery and there you have it working just fine
My 2005 Escalade did this. Battery went bad & was replaced under warranty. Put the new battery in & the NAV radio had power but wouldn’t come on meaning I could eject the NAV disk but the radio display stayed blank. Disconnected the battery a couple times hoping it would reset but no luck. Turned out the aftermarket Bluetooth adapter was keeping the radio from syncing up with the truck. Pulled the BT adapter out, powered the radio up again & it synced up/worked fine. Put the Bluetooth adapter back in & now all is well. I don’t remember what brand BT adapter it is.
