2004 Cavalier cranks but won't run

Car started to lose power when driving and shut off,towed home and
diagnosed bad fuel pump,replaced fuel pump,fuel filter in the right
direction,and spark plugs as they were saturated with fuel after cranking
trying to get to run,if u hold your foot to the floor it will run for a split second
and then goes back to just cranking

My advice to you is to stop putting money into this money pit. It is 12 years old and more problems will arise. If you have excellent credit go out and lease a new car with zero down payment, car manufacturers are offering excellent car deals now. If you cannot afford a new car for any reason, then try to buy a better used car. If you still want to fix the car, check the following: Do not hold your foot to the floor, you will only flood it and it will not start. let it rest for few minutes and open the hood so if there is any extra gas it will vaporize faster in open air. You might want to check and see if the spark plug cables need to be replaced. Buy OEM part, have tried aftermarket and not worth the small change in savings in such a part. Good luck
