Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Had an oil leak. Mechanic said it was due to a leaky valve cover gasket. Drove vehicle
home started to have hesitation when the gas pedal was depressed.  Parked the car in
the garage. Oil leak had increase. Noticed that gas was dripping from the tailpipe. And
car started skipping. All happened within a few days.
Mechanic said bring the car back in. I did not. Before then car ran fine just the leak.

Its possilble that one of the coil packs has not been properly hooked back up or a plug wire may be in the wrong spot after the mechanic was done. He would need to remove one to inspect the spark plugs. That would explain the fuel from the exhaust and poor running of the car.
