S500 code P0748 and P0410, please help, thanks!
Asked by Wije Sep 04, 2014 at 07:08 PM about the 2001 Mercedes-Benz S-Class S 500
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I see the "check engine" light and Autozone folks diagnosed 2 codes: P0748 and P0410.
Not sure if both causing the "check engine".
Would some one please tell me what's the best way of getting this fixed and approximate cost?
Thank you in advance!

The secondary air injection system does not detect the presence of air in the exhaust when introduced by the secondary air injection system. Read more: http://engine- codes.com/p0410_mercedes- benz.html#ixzz3COPk0kqK That should get u started
Thanks for the info and I do really appreciate it. However, I get the following message when I tried to login to it: Cannot display the WEB page. •Make sure the web address http://www.engine-%20codes.com is correct.
Take the raw code google or go to carcodes.com type your fault code p0410. All your doing is a cross reference. your car is obd2 compliant witch means the codes all mean basically the same for all car manufacturers after 1996.
Thanks and that did work...you guys are the best! I also found the P0748 there Thanks and have a great evening ....
