Got a 2000 Ford 7.3 Diesel F350. Don't have any power brakes. I replaced the power steering pump. I read if the hydro brake booster is bad the pedal will push back up when you start theo

Check and make sure the vacuum pump isn't bad. With no vacuum the brakes will lack boost and push really hard making you think the booster is bad.

I has a hydro booster not a vacuum. I replaced the power steering pump today and no results.

You are correct and my apologies. I wrongfully assumed they were still using a vacuum booster.
I found the problem. It was the Hydro booster. Process of elimination by replace things. Power steering pump, Master cylinder, then Hydro.
