Have a 2003 f-250 diesel pick up. My ignition switch fuse,#46, keeps blowing. I just replaced the alternator. Instrument cluster stops working, radio shuts off, then truck dies. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions on where to start looking? Thought i had a short somewhere, just was hoping for a starting point.

You said u just did some work to the truck. Check all the wiring in the areas you worked. Also to the starter and the wiring near the fuse panel itself. This can be an arduous process.there are lots of youtube videos on the subject of finding auto electrical shorts check em out.
