Brake problems

Asked by GuruX58T1 Oct 06, 2018 at 08:18 PM about the 2006 Ford Fusion SEL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My front brakes went out. I took it to a mechanic.
He said I needed a master cylinder, brake booster
and front driver side caliber. I purchased the items
from a well known auto supply place. After parts
were put on the mechanic said they were defected.
I had to return the parts and went to pep boys to
purchase all parts again. I have had to go back to
the mechanic 3 times because the brakes kept
locking up after several hours. Now he said it may
be the PBS system. Is it possible they did not
repair the brake parts properly and this could have
caused the problem?

The ABS system? A PBS system would ask you for money every few minutes.
