Was the battery disconnected or are you attempting to start the car with a key that is not OEM or came from the car when purchased? Most newer vehicle's keys have a chip in them that communicates with the starter of the vehicle and bypass the starter immobilizer (recognizing that the key matches the car). Please let me know so I can assist you further!
