I have a bad transmission in my truck. Can I put a
2004 transmission in my truck for a replacement. I
know the 2004 transmission has 2 sensors on it &
my old one just has 1. The mechanic said, my old
one has the sensor towards the rear of it. The 04
has one on the side & one towards the rear. If we
hooked my old wires up to the rear sensor, would
my truck shift ok ?

I would suspect you will have PCM issues, plus the missing sensor input will probably result in shifting issues. But best to check with pros.

    transmission slips out of drive into neutral while moving. onceyou give it more gas it will go back into gear.
