I've never heard of that package - not in 1/2 ton. Chevy had something like that. I could be wrong.
Heavy half were only made by Ford the rest custom order I can prove it to u
One way too tell is seven bolt pattern the other my transmission was changed and the mechanic noticed the rear end when he changed seal. Previous owner also told me that's what he ordered with tow package good to pull over 10000 kg. try that with ordinary half ton.
My remark was meant to say that in all of my years as a Ford tech (1987 to present), I'd never heard of that package. If it's "Special Ordered" then, it isn't a standard package that would show up on the showroom floor. I have seen an F- 150 with a 5.8L (351W) and a semi-floating rear end. They were Canadian built and not very common. General Motors had a 1/2 ton equipped with a Big Block - don't know much about it.
