What causes misfire on first 1000 revolutions?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Put $30 in gas and started skipping. Ran
diagnostic machine, said fuel bank to lean. We
knew the fuel pump was due to be changed so we
did. Ran fine for ½ day then started skipping. Ran
the diagnostic machine again it said misfire on 3
and misfire in first 1000 revolutions. Changed the
coil and the plug and still the same, diagnostics
are the same. Any idea what it could be?

Bad coils or old spark plugs. Check for vacuum leaks.

The O2 Oxygen sensor fails, and can cause misfiring. So many reasons for Cylinders misfiring

Bad fuel injector or poor compression on cylinder number 3. Hope that helps! Jim
