I HAVE A 1999 F250 SUPER DUTY DEISEL WHEN I HIT THE BREAKS THE PEDAL AT HALF WAY GETS HARD, IT FEELS LIKE THE BREAKS ARE GRABBING AND THE TRUCK SLOWS BUT FEELS LIKE THEY ARE ONLY HALF APPLIED

Have you checked the power steering ? On my 1999 F350 the power steering pump was the source of power for the brakes. Love that 7.3 Take good care of it and it will take good care of you.
