i have a ford f250 super duty my truck will not start when i turn the key but i can start it when i jump my starter. Any thoughts

I have 1999 f250 the key will not start it. It has a new ignition switch and power goes to it, but the key will not not turn it far enough to the start position, got any answers? 3 Answers

I have checked most thing out and it is somewhere between the key and the ignition switch.
