Check to see if the engine is getting spark and fuel before replacing the ignition control module.
I am having this exact same issue with mine. Swapped the ignition coil and wired a new plug in (original part melted in) I got about half a second of fire when done then right back to cranking but not turning over. Might I have butchered the wiring job? (First time with butt connectors and not just straight wire splicing) or should I now move on to plugs then control module? Distributor is about 8mo old. New cylanoids and alternator.
I’m having same problem, has spark, fuel pump good, getting gas...still crank no fire...I had radio installed it worked until put back in dash and now radio won’t work and van won’t fire..I feel it’s a short in wiring
