2002 Trailblazer acting different

Asked by Brittany Dec 26, 2018 at 04:04 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just changed the oil and air filter this evening on
my 02 trailblazer. Both the oil filter and air filter
being Fram and the oil was valvoline high mileage.
After the changes were made, I started it up and
everything seemed to be fine. Shut it off and then it
wouldn't start back up without giving it a little gas.
If turned over but it was spitting and sputtering as
if the plugs were bad. Didn't do it this morning but
right after me changing the oil. I'm at a loss on
what it could be. Anyone able to help?

Can you hear your fuel pump prime? Fuel pump could be going out on you. What else was done during this time? Did someone take off the top plastic resonator above the coils? Or unhook the battery? By the way, don't use Fram anymore, it's junk. Use Wix or Bosch for both filters in the future.
