I bought a used 2001 CRV. the 60,000 mi transmission fluid was never changed. It now has 78,000 miles. Should I get it changed?

I would recommend getting it changed sooner then later, have the fluid checked to see what it looks like (color/smell) or for any debris. Honda recommends 30,000 mile intervals but that is based on severe driving, stop by a local shop or Honda dealer and have it looked at.

OK thanks, I thought I had read something that after a certain mileage you shouldn't change it, but wasn't sure. I'll get on it!
