Car won’t start

My wife has a 2006 Honda CR-V and a couple weeks ago
it wouldn’t turn over. I put water in the battery and it
started fine for a few days. Then the starter went out,
replaced that, and it worked for a week. Now it only try’s.
Turning once and stops, but the needles on the dash
flicker and go kind of haywire for a second. When I turn
the key on the radio still turns on and the open door
dings, what could the problem be?

I would start with the battery, if it's over Three years old replace ir
