I just bought a 2000 Chevy truck the alarm went off when I open the door , turns out the person that had it didn't give back the key fob when the truck was reapoad so I ask Chevy dealer and they ordered me a key fob for $85 and programmed it for $40 took only a few min and fixed it .

You can try this. It may or not work but it's worth a shot. Unlock the doors with the key out of the ignition. Then start the car. Lock the doors and shut off the engine. Let me know if that's the cure.

I have a 2014 Honda Odyssey I had same problem Alarm going off especially at night Waking everyone including the neighbors You can YouTube there's a video But all you got to do is open hood Where there's the hood lach there's a connection just disconnect that wire.. Basically what trigger the alarm is the hood I'm guessing with the wind it triggers it... Try it And have a good night sleep..

We just locked the doors, then used a key in the drivers side door lock to physically unlock the door, and it stopped.

Make sure the electronic sliding doors are fully closed. if not - push in the sliding doors till it is flush to the side of the van. This would prevent the alarm from sounding off throughout the night.
