I don't know what testing you have done? Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. With key on, problem ongoing, did you check voltage and ground at the ignition module? Pink wire is voltage goes hot with the key on. Black wire is ground. Also, my info shows crank sensor is direct input to ignition module. The rpm signal comes from crank sensor, if no rpm signal, you won't have spark or fuel injector pulse. Any applicable trouble codes? I have seen crank sensors that would work intermittently.

DIDNT CHECK POWER AT IGNITION MODULE. DOIN THIS A S MOBILE MECHANIC JOB SO NO LIFT. DID SOME ONLINE RESEARCH AND SINCE EVERYTHING'S BEEN CHANGED I WENT WITH FAULTY IGN SWITCH. I WAS LEANING TO CRANK SENSOR OR MODULE. ACTUALLY MODULE WAS MY 1ST GUESS WHEN I GOT THE JOB,CUSTOMER SAID IT WAS CHANGED. I SAID THAT DOESNT MATTER. WILL TAKE A RIDE DOWN TOMORROW AND CHECK WIRING AT MODULE THEN IF GOOD CHANGE CRANK SENSOR. ONLY TROUBLE CODE IS TPS AND SINCE THEY HAVE PUT A NEWER ENGINE IN,NOT SURE IF THATS A FAULTY CODE. I CHANGED TPS AND CODE REMAINED SO PUT OLD ONE BACK IN. WILL GET BACK TO YOU. TYVM.

I thought about the ignition module, also? I believe the crank sensor is cheaper, cost wise, if testing can't narrow it down.

CUSTOMER TOLD ME THEY CHANGED MODULE 4 TIMES!!! LMAO. SO THE ONLY THING THAT WOULD SHUT DOWN BOTH FUEL AND SPARK WOULD B- MODULE,CRANK SENSOR AND ECM. THE FACT THAT IT STARTS IM GONNA RULE OUT ECM AND THE FACT THAT MODULE HAS BEEN CHANGED 4 TIMES IM GONNA RULE THAT OUT AND IVE CHANGED IGNITION SWITCH SO THAT RULES OUT LOSING POWER TO MODULE AND ECM. CRANK SENSOR IT IS-I HOPE!.

SO I GOT TO TRUCK YESTERDAY AND TRUCK STARTED RIGHT UP. I THEN PROCEEDED TO CHANGE THE CRANK SENSOR. TRUCK STARTED RIGHT UP. I LET IT RUN FOR 15 MINUTES. SHUT IT OFF TRIED TO RESTART AND NO SPARK NO FUEL ONCE AGAIN. IM DONE. THIS MAKES NO SENSE.

I'm going to toss you a curve ball, so cut me some slack on this one, "please". What if you're facing two problems at the same time? Like a stopped up fuel filter and a half bad fuel pump. and some kind of safety shutoff switch that is malfunctioning. Some cars have a shutoff switch that kicks in if you're low on oil for example. Good luck.

TRUCK STARTS UP AND RUNS FINE AFTER SITTING. AS SOON AS U SHUT IT OFF IT WONT RESTART AND NO SPARK AND NO FUEL AT SAME TIME. WAIT 20 MINUTES STARTS UP. NO ALARM SYSTEM IN VEHICLE. IVE GIVEN UP. THE ENGINE IS A 2000 IN A 1997 AND ITS BEEN REWIRED BY A GENIUS USING ALL WHITE WIRES!!!!! TRUCK WAS FINE FOR MONTHS THEN THIS HAPPENED. I THINK ITS EITHER GOT A BAD ECM OR A BAD WIRE GOIGN TO PCM. I LOST 120 BUCKS ON TRYIGN TO FIX IT,IM DONE
