my 2001 chevy s10 says it is misfiring on number 6 cilider has plently of power to go and is not hesitanting and it has check engine light on what do i do?

connect to an OBD-II tester to find out what the problem really is. You can go to many major auto parts stores, they will send manny, moe or jack out to connect to your diagnostic plug and know what the trouble codes are...bring 'em back and post them for us to dissect like a school of great whites on some chum..here's a do-it yourself tool if you think manny's got bad breath and you don't want him anywhere near your car~
