Air Conditioner stop blowing cold. I was about to put freon in but I checked the pressure way high. I dont understand how this could possible happen.. Ran great for 3 yrs. now what to do???

So your a/c line pressure is high, does it remain high with the engine off? Or does it pressure up quickely after you start it? Not sure what would cause it to remain high all the time. If it pressures up quickely there is a blockage. Your a/c system will have two pressure switches one low one high. Low one is for low refrigerant the high one to protect the system from overpressurizing. If it's not blocked you could try bleeding some pressure out to the operating zone as indicated on your re-charge kit. If there is a blockage it will have to be repaired.
Hi/Lo Switch, Or clogged condenser, If so, take too a shop, I had to do the same, I got lucky, they sucked out old Freon, and then blowed it out, filled and worked fine,
