2004 S-10 why does truck make buzz noise when slowing down

2004 S-10 4x4 pu --after driving about 5 mi ,buzz noise as i slow down ( like a
tire rubbing sound ) but goes away when it goes in to 4wd -- checked the valve
under battery , looks ok --- just bought truck ( only 57k miles )

IT WAS THE VACUUM HOSE UP BY THE LEFT COWL @ THE HIDDEN STORAGE TANK IN BACK OF LEFT FENDER. REPLACED ALL THE ROTTEN HOSES -- GONE
