When I put my car in park it continues to either roll backwards or roll forward. Also when I shift it in drive it's lined up with neutral N instead of drive D.

So I recently bought a 2008 Impala from a small time dealer. It has 65000 plus miles on it and is under a 3000 mile 60 day warranty, I took it back to the dealer and asked him to look at it because I felt it was shifting bad, He said there was nothing wrong with it and unfortunately i didnt get any paper work. so i took it on my own and got it checked and it needs a new transmission, i went back and told the dealer and he wont pay for it unless i take it to where hewants to have it looked at 5 Answers
