Chugging when reaching 3000 rpm

I have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 5.2 engine. i bought this truck a few months
ago with 225,xxx miles on it and slowly fixing it up. its a great truck. but one
thing i'm unsure about is a chugging i get when exceeding 3000 rpms. doesn't
die or anything just kind of chugs like it wont give anymore HP. i let off the gas
and it runs just fine after...

Try adding some seafoam fuel injector cleaner to gas tank if does not help replace fuel filter
