A/c is screaming at me

I changed my heater core the other day and everything
was fine but today I turned on the air and my a/c stared
screaming at me until I slapped the dash and it started
blowing air. Any ideas?

You may have jammed a blend door during your repairs, and hitting the dash dislodged it, hopefully you didn't damage the servo or the door. if it happens again you might have to remove the heater box assembly again and find out why it keeps jamming up.
