Lights dont work

Asked by Raiderrobb Aug 07, 2016 at 05:33 PM about the 2000 Dodge RAM 1500 ST RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

..last week my 00 Dodge Ram 1500 dash light went
out....and apparently so did my tail lights running
lights license plate light by the way police have
been looking me over since then...my head
lights.brake back up and turn signils work.....ive
checked every fuse..even those unrelated just
because i happened to blown my brake light fuse
while messing around in the driver side fuse panel
but all the fuses that are relevant to the lights not
working are in the main power distribution box
under the hood....with that many failures at once...i
cant belive a bulb is at fault....also.....im carring a
camper and they run off the trailer wiring and all
lights except interior lights are now out aa well so i
suspect everything failed at same time

I'm chasing the same problem. Here is a link to a good YouTube video to replace the switch which controls the dash head and run nun lights https://youtu.be/c0cl88JzL48 I replaced my switch, but still does not work. Next I'm going to replace the pigtail wiring that connects to the switch. Let me know if you have any success.
